Since Ktp-contact-list 0.6.80, grouping by account does not work anymore. Choosing Tools Button > Contact Grouping > Show Contacts by Accounts causes all contacts irrespective of their account to be thrown together. I have a MSN Live contact next to a Google Talk one, and on the other side, a FB Chat one. Obviously, Grouping by account does not work. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Tools Button > Contact Grouping > Show Contacts by Accounts 2. 3. Actual Results: All contacts are thrown together. Expected Results: Contacts should be separated by account. Using KDE 4.11.1, Slackware64-current.
Grouping by accounts has been (temporarily) disabled in kpeople-mode, because it would cause some usability problems (for example if you doubleclick on a contact when grouping by account, you probably expect to open a chat using that particular account, and we cannot guarantee it yet) The real bug is that the tools button still show "Show Contacts by Accounts" instead of "Show Contacts Ungrouped" or something similar. Note: This bug will probably require to add a translated string.
I thought scummos had changed that string. I remember reviewing it. Let's use this bug to refer to the string changing ("Ungrouped") when in kpeople mode As for making it so you can group by account in kpeople mode.. I really don't know how we're going to solve that. Lets clone the bug and discuss that elsewhere (will be a 0.8 problem at best)
I somehow forgot to publish the commit changing it to "Do not group". Don't know how that happened. It should be fixed in 0.7 now (gets into master on the next merge).
