Was not able to report the bug with the assistant, because it could install the backtrace.

I am testing SUSE factory Beta 13.1with the latest version of your KDE (4.11.1) - Hence the possible duplicates which are reported closed cannot apply.

KDE Crash Handler <Install Debug Symbols> failed to install -
Error during the installation of Backtrace - Message reads: Could not find debug
symbol packages for this application.

Although I have installed /usr/bin/kgpg , the following files are missing and I cannot installed them:
/usr/bin/kdeinit4
/usr/lib/libQtGui.so.4
/usr/lib/libkdeinit4_plasma-desktop.so
/usr/lib/kde4/plasma_applet_launcher.so
/usr/lib/libkdeui.so.5
/usr/lib/libkickoff.so
/usr/lib/libQtCore.so.4
/usr/lib/libplasma.so.3

They must be required dependencies when kgbg is installed.
Comment 1 Christoph Feck 2013-09-29 13:01:50 UTC
Are you sure you do not have /usr/lib/libQtGui.so.4 installed? The application should not start at all, if required libraries are missing.

If the crash is reproducible, please add steps to reproduce.

For more information about reporting crashes, please see http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

For information about installing debug symbols, please ask in a forum of your distribution, such as http://forums.opensuse.org/forum.php

If you are not able to install debug symbols, even an incomplete backtrace contains valuable information. Please click on the "Developer Information" tab in the crash dialog window, and add the contents here.
