Open any profile on twitter. Place your cursor in the empty space to the left or right. Scroll the page to see older tweets: the background will scroll. Once the mouse cursor hits the are where the tweets are the background is restored back to normal. If you have the mouse cursor in the tweet area and scroll the background seems to be restored every time a link is hit with the cursor. Reproducible: Always
tagesschau.de has the same problem. There I can only get the background back to normal by clicking on it, which only sometimes works on the twitter site. When I open things in akregator the tagesschau background works fine (i.e. does not move), while twitter still shows the same behaviour.
Things got a bit different meanwhile: -on Twitter the background goes back to normal once you hit any link, but not on the posting itself if the text is no link -the background on tagesschau.de works fine if opened in a tab in Konqueror -if tagesschau.de is opened as the only website in Konqueror, or it is in akregator_part, the background-issue appears -hovering anything in tagesschau.de does not change anything -clicking anywhere that is no link or leaving the window with the mouse (I have focus follows mouse mode) makes the background jump back to normal on both sites
