I' can't see any option in 'Editor component -> Editing' to disable drag-n-drop of selected text.
I find this behaviour very annoying. Whenever i try to narrow my selection, I end up accidentally moving my block of text somewhere. It would be great to have a checkbox in the options like most other text editors.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. select some text
2. click and drag
3. note, your text moved rather than re-selecting a different range

That wasn't resolved at all :/

Looking at that bug it sounded more like he was trolling and making a nuisance than reporting on a legitimate usage concern...
