Wish: When having images numbered by camera, it would by nice to be able to add a certain offset to existing numbering with renaming mechanisms. Reproducible: Always
Which digiKam version do you use ? Gilles Caulier
I use 3.4.0 michel
Michel, This file still valid using last digiKam 4.2.0 ? Gilles Caulier
Yes. michel
Michel, Same problem using 4.10.0 ? Gilles Caulier
Yes. Or is there something changed, which I can test? Renaming by "F2" or "batch conversion" do not show a possibility for adding an offset. Michel
For example: #### [1000,10] Start / offset value 1000 and step 10? Button for the dialog "Number..."? Maik
No. I ment adding a certain offset to an existing numbering. So that all gaps in numbering remain. For example: Before: IMG_0010.jpg IMG_0011.jpg IMG_0012.jpg IMG_0015.jpg IMG_0016.jpg After adding 522: IMG_0532.jpg IMG_0533.jpg IMG_0534.jpg IMG_0537.jpg IMG_0538.jpg Krename uses a plugin called "Increase Counter". This does exactly what I would like to have during importing images from my camera.
OK, now I understand. Maik
