Description mnaugendre 2013-09-13 11:25:57 UTC
I recently began the use different folders on my camera (very useful when you need to separate several events taking place on the same day).
Unfortunately, Digikam is not able to replicate this organization when importing (everything goes to the same folder), so I need to use an 'ordinary' file manager program to empty my cards to disk, before launching Digikam.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have pictures in different folders or a memory card
2. Start Digikam import function and select images from different folders for importing
3. Everything goes to the one folder that has been selected.

Expected Results:
Would like Digikam to automatically create subfolders in the designated destination folder in order to replication the organization previously created on the card. Same subfolder names could be used; in any case, they can be renamed afterwards.
