Whenever I receive an URL in a chat session with someone using google hangouts on ipad/iphone, the URL is misformatted, and clicking it usually results in an error 404. As a rule, the URL has an underscore in front and after, and the chat window only renders the part after the :// as click-able url but includes the _. Here is an example Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. have someone who uses google hangouts on IOS send you an URL 2. observe how it does not work properly 3. compare with how urls sent on any other protocol work fine Actual Results: clicking on an url gets me Error 404 Expected Results: clicking on an url should get me to that website I have not tried with hangouts on other platforms
Can you please retest with 0.8? We did some changes around that and it may have been fixed.
tested with the latest telepatthy versions from opensuse build service, works now. ...on the other hand, only two of my various messenger accounts can login, the rest does not work. The not working ones are: yahoo, msn, AOL.
