Description Discrete Chan 2013-09-08 01:52:53 UTC
I have two sound card. But I cannot select soundcard for Phonon using systemsetting.
This bug has been reported 3 times in other places, but none of them was solved.
http://askubuntu.com/questions/115105/phonon-audio-hardware-setup and http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2104043 and http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=98726

Here is how the bug behaves.
"But, when I play audio through any program it still uses the speakers and not the headset. So, I went into "Audio Hardware Setup" and saw it's set to use the soundcard. So I changed that to my USB headset, hit apply and closed it. Then I played some music and the same issue.
When I opened up the audio hardware setup settings again, it had reverted back to using the soundcard w/ the speakers."

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
No change is saved.

Expected Results:
The change should be saved.

And the Speaker Placement and Testing doesn't work either. But Clementine works fine.
