Description puggan 2013-09-05 10:47:19 UTC
When kmail need the imap password, exemple for fetching emails, I get a kwallet dialog to enter my kwallet password in, after entering the correct password, i get the same kwallet dialog over and over, until I click cancel, after a cancel the settings->accounts display "Could not read the password: user rejected wallet access"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
As I haven't found a way back to a working stage, I had no chans to reproduce it from scrats.

1. start kmail
2. fetch emails
3. enter kwallet password
Actual Results:
the kwallet dialog reapers over and over

Expected Results:
kmail fetches my emails
Comment 1 puggan 2013-09-05 11:16:28 UTC
The email server had a problem whit the SSL after an expired certificate.

Expected behiver:
Display the error message from the imap-server.
(Don't ask me for the same password again, over and over, after failer)

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
