When adding songs to the playlist using drag&drop from outside Amarok, the toal playlist length is not displayed or the displayed value is wrong. The number of songs is always displayed correctly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Select some mp3 files in Dolphin 2.Put these files per drag&drop on the Amarok playlist 3. Actual Results: No or wrong total playlist length (time) is displayed (the number of songs is always correct). Expected Results: The correct total playlist length (time) is displayed.
Which Phonon backend do you use? Is this reproducible with both the gstreamer and the vlc backend?
It's reproducible with both backends. The playlist length is correct when adding songs from the collection browser, it only happens when adding files from outside Amarok using drag&drop. I tried to figure figure out what might go wrong: When starting an empty playlist, at least 3 files must be added with a single drag&drop operation. Otherwise no total length is calculated. The total length then seems to be the sum of the length of first n songs with n = (nr. of songs - 2). I also noticed, that if no total lenght is displayed (only the nr. of songs) and a song is deleted from the list, a total length appears beeing (60 min. - length of the deleted song).

Thank you for the feedback.
I'm also seeing the playlist length (in time) not incremented if I add something to the list using the amaroks 'Playlist=>add media' menu - is this the same bug or should another be opened?
That is probably the same bug
