trying to link google calendar with kontact and at the end I hit fetch
and  get this "There was a problem with the request.
Unknown error code 0....Please send a full bug report at http://bugs.kde.org. (501).

Try using the google resource instead of DAV.
I just updated that wiki page.

Google's no longer working with the dav resource due to their policy to mandate OAuth anyways.
