Description djosr 2013-08-31 11:31:42 UTC
showing window geometry when moving or resizing not working for user only.
works as root.
Comment 1 Thomas Lübking 2013-08-31 11:44:30 UTC
some permission error.
you likely lack write permissions on ~/.kde/share/config/kwinrc?

does the setting safe, ie. does it suggest this was enabled when you run "kcmshell4 kwinoptions" the next time?

please don't add full quotes, you're replying to a bugtracker.

regarding the issue, please attach the output of "qdbus org.kde.kwin /KWin supportInformation" to the bug (use the webfrontend)

=> you're not running kwin.
What's the output of "ps ax"?
