When the laptop is running on battery, sometimes it just starts to jump from 100% brighness down to ~45% then back to 100% and back to ~45%.

This happens so fast that the screen flickers. Only way to stop this is to disable power management or try to connect the charger and keep it or disconnect it again.

Sometimes this just triggers when you change the brightness when on battery or just when disconnecting the charger. Or sometimes just at boot.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Up to date Arch installation
Linux 3.10.9

The screen brightness is still not controlled by KDE for me but it seems the issues are gone. Maybe a Intel/Kernel upgrade fixed this?

Anyhow would be nice to control it with KDE to get the OSD up.
