Analysing the backtrace, it must be that widget: 0x1db1f50
for which sizehints is called is invalid. 
this has to be an upstream (Qt) or downstream (the python module) bug. Not oxygen. Sorry.

identify the python script.
Most likely it is provided by ubuntu, and ... is buggy.
In any case: I cannot reproduce.

Unfortunately, all of other styles (plastic, cleanlooks, etc.) also leads to crash.

I will try to find the buggy script.

Seems like python-based 'kde-config-touchpad' (which provides configuration tool for Synaptics touchpads) package has bugs. /usr/bin/synaptiks (python script) also causes crash of interpreter. Thus, my bug is not related with oxygen or systemsettings.

So, closing ... thanks for investigating.
I suggest you file a bug to Ubuntu, possibly with a link to this one.

Wyatt, the bug is not restricted to synaptiks, but can happen with any kcm module that is written in python. Please ask in a forum of your distribution, which other third-party modules are python-based.
