Description Antonis G. 2013-08-24 21:23:58 UTC
Sometimes while browsing various sites, which does not provide ssl encrypted connection, when clicking a link (doesnt matter if it links to an external domain or not ), a security prompt appears informing the user that he is about to exit safe mode. However this is not the case, since there is no encryption in the previous page.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a site with http://
2. click a few links
3. warning sometimes appears
Actual Results:
A dialog appears prompting to continue loading the page or cancel.

Expected Results:
I would expect this prompt to appear only when I am at sites that provide https and I am about to enter one without.

This is a bit hard to reproduce but certainly happens after prolong use of the browser.

Well.. things are a bit more difficult than that. There is actually a lot of https pushed inside normal "http" pages. Think about all those ones linking to G+, Fb or Twitter.
You probably have your password saved in rekonq and when you visit that HTTP://www.foo.com page you are automagically authed to your preferred social network. So when you leave it...
