Many people need the ability to build KDE without nepomukserver. It's requires a lot of time in the assembly of unnecessary dependencies, such as MySQL. Reproducible: Always
1. Nepomuk does not require MySQL. You're referring to Akonadi. 2. Nepomuk does however require virtuoso, but that is a runtime dependency. Not a compile time one. 3. Nepomuk has always been compile-optional. Please check each relevant repo for the flag to not compile Nepomuk. 4. kdepim has a hard dependency on Nepomuk (I think) which is not going to change. So if you want to not compile Nepomuk, you might have to skip kdepim as well. Closing this bug as INVALID. Please feel free to reopen if you have any other problems with not compiling Nepomuk
