In KDE 4.11 there appears to be a new battery widget. The widget does not show the full length of the text "Energieverwaltung aktiviert" (energymanagement activated). Reproducible: Always
Can you post a screenshot and be more specific about where the text is shown? Both the "Energieverwaltung aktivieren" text next to the checkbox as well as the tooltip "Energieverwaltung ist deaktiviert" fit perfectly here.

Thanks for the screenshot! The minimum width is dynamic and is always 9 times the dialog icon size, which defaults to 32px but is rather small on your machine. Frankly, I only tested with *bigger* icon sizes (for high-res screens) but not smaller ones. So, we need an *absolute* minimum width which is - if I can access that property - the checkbox width including its label.
