Description j_kanev 2013-08-09 14:45:05 UTC
After upgrading to 4.10.5 from a previous version all email filters were lost.

Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start kmail version prior to 4.10.5
2. Create some email filters
3. Upgrade kmail to version 4.10.5 (via apt-get)
4. Close kmail
5. Open kmail
6. Check Settings → Configure Filters
Actual Results:
All filters created at step 2 are lost.

Expected Results:
All filters created at step 2 are still present and active.

Upgrading was a lengthy process where kmail had to be restarted and a data migration was done. Not only filters but also colour settings were lost in the process.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
