Description Bernd Oliver Sünderhauf 2013-08-06 11:36:18 UTC
Would be an invaluable UI improvement if from the context menu I could directly go and inspect the focussed element.

Per Bug 247635, it seems like this might already have been possible in an earlier version, until the "Inspect element" context action was replaced by a simple "Inspect" on/off toggle.

I understand the merits of the toggle, and know that it's stil possible by using the magnifying glass. However it's much more expected that the focussed element gets inspected rightaway.

Also It was much more intuitive if there were a 'close' button on the top-right of the Inspector's task bar. Used to it being there from Firefox and Chrom*, it took a while until I found out how to close the inspector...

Development on Rekonq ceased four years ago, and it has been unmaintained since then. KDE recommends using Falkon instead.
