since 4.10.80, the slideshow could not show the directory path that i setted before.
but the main feature is still exist.
this bug will cause me whenever i changed any settings of slideshow,
i need to re-configure the directory path.

I am on vacation without a functional KDE so I cannot check what the problem is but the desktop slide show is not the same code as the picture frame hence assigning this to me seems wrong especially as I am not around to fix anything for a few weeks. Jekyll please double check.

just the custom directory will always empty.
whenever you have settings or not.
the next time you open the settings.
it's always empty

Hi ! I can confirm this issue. It happens 100% of the time (on several installs) in KDE 4.11.0 :

the directories set in the "slideshow" desktop background mode are not displayed (even though they are taken into account).

Could it be related with the facts that you lock the desktop widgets in the screenshot ?

no, with unlock, the directories is still not show.
