Hi. First of all, I'm running opensuse 12.3 i686 kde 4.10.5 "release 1" 

I'd like to report a buggy behavior in the app.

My native language is Spanish, and we use the so called accented letters, for example á é í ó ú, these are very common in the words, and I'm having issues with these letters.

When I want to write a new note with accented letter (by pressing the character   '   first, antd then the letter), I don't get any output at all, for example:

If I want to write the word canción
I get the result cancin


I found a way to correct this misbehavior.
I've seen that the default font is "DejaVu Sans", so I go to the option "fonts"  and simply select again "DejaVu Sans", then I can write succesfully.

Something else that I believe it's wortwhile to mention is that at the beginning, the blinking cursor ( | ) doesn't appears, but once I've selected DejaVu Sans as mentioned before, the cursor is finally there!

Steps to Reproduce:
1.In lationamerican (or spanish) keyboard, press   '   key.
2. Then select a vowel (for example, a)
3. The expected result is á, but nothing happens.
Actual Results:  
Nothing is written.

Expected Results:  
It should have written á é í ó or ú

Opensuse 12.3 32 bits, KDE 4.10.5 "release 1"
Latinoamerican keyboard (working correctly it other apps)
Computer Model: Compaq Mini CQ10LA, "GB RAM, atom processor.
