Distros everywhere are switching in droves to MariaDB, and I've heard that MariaDB includes more DB engines and can perform better than MySQL. Can you include some MariaDB specific optimizations? We use InnoDB with MySQL. On MariaDB InnoDB is replaced by XtraDB, which is an improved version of InnoDB (InnoDB itself is not shipped with MariaDB). Is that what you had in mind, or did you mean some other engine?
Yes. I had in mind some XtraDB specific optimizations as part of the wish.
