Could we rotate the brush by simply clicking a keyboard button? It would be fine.
Could be very useful indeed.
The real question is, though, should we make all the sensors that influence the brush into qactions so users can create shortcuts? Right now, only size, opacity and lightness/darkness are done, but it could be made much more general.
That could be interesting. I can see myself assigning a couple for spacing.
And we need to add gestures, too. This will need to be really thought out before we start implementing it.
I agree that more actions should be shorcutable, even if it sometimes is only for a limited use,it can help a prohect with a certain need significantly. Maybe things that pertain to brushes (size, rotation, spacing...) could be a different category in the keyboard settings as to make it easier to find ,and not needlessly clutter up the rest?
Any further information on this Feature Request ? Looks interesting despite the fact I have been trying to figure out how to do without much luck :P

Git commit 5edaa336d4999c5db77958cc2e9970a6cfc995f5 by Dmitry Kazakov. Committed on 05/08/2016 at 09:39. Pushed by dkazakov into branch 'master'. Merge the Heads-up-display for the brushes into master Now the popup palette has a special HUD that is used for controlling specific brush properties. Every brush engine has its own properties, and you can choose which ones you want to see in a special settings dialog in the HUD itself.
