Description Swagato Barman Roy 2013-07-17 12:59:15 UTC
Platform Ubuntu 13.04. Installation source Ubuntu Package.
1) Kile crashing unexpectedly once I close any dialogue box in the window.
2) The dialogue boxes aren't showing, ok or cancel button to save or abandon the necessary settings.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to Settings->Configure Kile
2. Click on View and make random changes to the settings
3. Click on Ok button and exit the dialogue box
Actual Results:
No Ok button present and Kile crashes

Expected Results:
No need to explain

The following is being shown in the terminal.
The program 'kile' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
  (Details: serial 5960 error_code 3 request_code 20 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
