Amarok doesn't remember it was closed in maximized mode, it always opens in the default size since v2.7.90-28-g28daff8 Apparently the window size is not written to amarokrc anymore
Please paste the contents of the [MainWindow] group from amarokrc.
[MainWindow] Height 1200=713 Height 600=601 Height 768=437 State=AAAA/wAAAAD9AAAAAQAAAAAAAAQ2AAACffwBAAAAA/sAAAAkAE0AZQBkAGkAYQAgAFMAbwB1AHIAYwBlAHMAIABkAG8AYwBrAQAAAAAAAAErAAAAfAEAAAX7AAAAGABDAG8AbgB0AGUAeAB0ACAAZABvAGMAawEAAAEuAAABvwAAAFABAAAF+wAAABoAUABsAGEAeQBsAGkAcwB0ACAAZABvAGMAawEAAALwAAABRgAAASABAAAFAAAAAAAAAn0AAAAEAAAABAAAAAgAAAAI/AAAAAEAAAACAAAAAgAAABYATQBhAGkAbgBUAG8AbwBsAGIAYQByAQAAAAD/////AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYAFMAbABpAG0AIABUAG8AbwBsAGIAYQByAAAAAAD/////AAAAAAAAAAA= ToolBarsMovable=Disabled Width 1366=906 Width 1920=1078 Width 800=801 What is this long hash for btw?
The hash is the state of the dock windows. Qt stores it that way. Regarding the bug: Please try removing the Height and Width lines.
Tried that by removing all height and width definitions in amarokrc for the Main Window, didn't help. The same state is written again and not updated when one closes the application in maximized state.
Impossible to reproduce here. I'm pretty sure it's not an Amarok issue.
This still happens with current git, v2.8.0-309-g4a29769
I cannot reproduce it in v2.8.0-310-g0f95f81 Whether amarok is closed when minimized or restored, it opens with same dimensions.
I am unable to reproduce it in v2.8.0-310-g0f95f81. Even after closing amarok while in tray and when restored, the dimensions are retained on next amarok start.
Do you have two screens? Apparently this only happens with a dual screen setup. Reproducible every time.
