Description bugs5.kde.org 2013-07-12 06:23:13 UTC
Hi there

Whenever I want to print more than one copy of a document I want to print first the whole document once, then the second copy, then the third copy.

However Okular by default has 'collate' disabled when you chose to print more than one copy.

Also, if you manually select 'collate' in the printing dialog, it still isn't respected. In other applications it works fine, but not in Okular.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a pdf
2. Chose to print
3. Select more than 1 copies to print
4. Press collate
Actual Results:
each pages is printed as often as you set the number of copies

Expected Results:
each document should be in order printed first and then a sconed copy etc.

Are you printing to file or to pdf?
Comment 2 Albert Astals Cid 2013-07-15 13:30:04 UTC
Sorry, wrong question. Correct question is:

Are you printing to file(pdf/ps) or to the printer?
Comment 3 bugs5.kde.org 2013-07-15 13:31:14 UTC

Printing to: Printer (various models)

Can you attach one of the documents you are using? Just to make sure that when we try to reproduce we use a document that is known to fail

Printer: HP LaserJet 1022
Driver: HPLIP 3.12.9

I just tried printing two times a 2 page pdf with collate and got "1 2 1 2" and then without and got "1 1 2 2" so it seems to work for me.

Does this still fail for you in newer okular versions?
