Description Miki800 2013-07-10 16:31:31 UTC
Registered with a a-zA-Z First name and numeric Last name
got activation link by email
entered the "Complete Registration on KDE Identity"
Username * mandatory field is not editable, and it is a selectable list field with zero items to select from.

this situation renders the registering user unable to complete registeration

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Registered with a a-zA-Z First name and numeric Last name
2.got activation link by email
3.entered the "Complete Registration on KDE Identity"
4. Username * mandatory field is not editable, and it is a selectable list field with zero items to select from.
Actual Results:
this situation renders the registering user unable to complete registeration

Expected Results:
upon entering the activation link and reaching the "Complete Registration on KDE Identity" page, I would expect the username field to be an editable text field and not a selectable list field,
plus if it is a selectable list field, limiting to user to choose names only from the list, the list should never be empty.

Due to some sanity checks, the system expects a real last name, not only consisting of a numeric value. And as such it is not able to provide a selection.
Note, identity expects a realname, so it can provide alternatives for a loginname. Which have nothing to do with the display name on the forums, which you can choose once your registration is finished.
