Description Sergej Kern 2013-07-10 11:47:19 UTC
when I add files and directories into a "project" it calculates the whole size of files wrong (or it reads the available size of my bluray disk wrong)
so that when programm tries to write the last file on disk, it sees that ther is not enough space, so it closes the disk and aborts. the last (big) file on the disk is not readable.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. put bluray disk into drive
2. create new project and put as many files as fit (leaving maybe 100-300 MB free)
3. burn
4. watch k3b aborting at the end
Actual Results:
disk is burned and readable, but last file is not readable, because actually not written

Expected Results:
programm should see the actual size of disk? or sum of all sizes correctly, not letting me put too much files into project

Diskdrive: HL-DT-ST - BD-RE BH10LS30
Disk: BestMedia Platinum - BD-R - 25 GB 6x
Comment 1 Sergej Kern 2013-07-10 11:55:44 UTC
Example: 18 Files, Filesystem calculates sum of 22,5 GB
K3b calculates 20,9 GiB, and 2,4 GiB available. But you can put on a Bluray only 23 GB, so K3b allows me to put into a project more than actually fit on a bluray disk.

Are you sure this is still happening? GB and GiB are different units of measuring data by the way. Still if K3b is miscalculating and failing to write the last file that does need to be fixed.
