LaTeX environments nested in a math environment (such as equation) are incorrectly parsed, that is, the \begin{} is correctly parse, but the \end{} only up to the first accolade : highlighting then fails and the closing accolade is not detected. Testcase : \begin{equation} \begin{dcases} θ₀(x) = \begin{dcases} +1 & x<c -1 & x>c \end{dcases}\\ θ_{n+1}(x) = θ_n(x)θ₀(x) \end{dcases} \end{equation} Reproducible: Always
I uploaded an updated file latex.xml and I think the update fixes this; see bug 274440.
I have adapted a patch to current version 1.55 of latex.xml and sent it to the maintainer of Kile (Michel Ludwig) to commit it.
