Description Paul Wise 2013-07-08 09:56:35 UTC
The JOSM page of the External Map Editor Selection dialog has two issues that do not occur with Potlatch/Merkaartor:

The dialog can be reduced in horizontal size so some of the screenshot is not visible.

The dialog can be reduced in vertical size so that the text is overlayed on the screenshot and is thus not readable.

There is also a typo: s/therefor/therefore/

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Edit menu
2. Edit map item
3. Select JOSM

Dear Bug Submitter,

This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond.

Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!

With the Debian buster marble package version 4:17.08.3-3.1 and from the about dialog "Version 2.2.20 (2.3 development version)":

The two layout issues have been fixed.

The typo has not been fixed, but it is a minor issue.

There is another layout issue, but I'll file a separate bug for that.

So I recommend closing the issue and communicating the typo to someone who can fix it quickly. In addition, KDE might want to employ codespell to prevent more typos from being introduced:
