klocale_kde.cpp checks for the string "UTF-8" in the environment, but on Gentoo systems the locales usually end in "utf8" (without dash). Glibc seems to treat both strings as synonyms. $ locale -a C de_CH.utf8 de_DE.utf8 en_US en_US.iso88591 en_US.utf8 POSIX This leads to problems when unzipping ZIP files from Windows with Ark with non-ASCII filenames: Dolphin is later unable to access them.
