It's a regression. With gphoto2 no problem tot connect and get the photos. Digikam crashes too . With gwenview or shotwell no trouble to download photos (=> the problem isn't in libghoto2 ) but I prefer Digikam ... !!!  and it makes no-sense to use these programs.


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. plug the usb cable with a camera Canon EOS 7D already registered
2. power-on the Canon EOS 7D and simply run  "kcmshell4 kamera"
3. click on the camera icon and then ... kcmshell4 crashes
Actual Results:
