Description MichalG 2013-07-04 10:55:44 UTC
Over month ago I put some fine and different sets of extra brushes into Krita's proper directory. Everything works well, but I noticed that the newer tested version of Krita appears (Linux version via PPA) the more "invalid" brushes are shown (I didn't alter these sets meanwhile)... ;o
Despite the markings, these "bad" brushes can be still used!

Does it mean there are still lot of changes in Krita's brush engine at current time?

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
Total lack of "invalid" marks (red-crossed) because it's kinda irritating and misleading....

It should auto-verify all brushes while loading main program - like Photoshop does, I guess.

Hi Michal,

Yes, we've just discovered this bug ourselves because we're cleaning up the set if gimp brushes included in Krita. The problem is that even if a preset uses an autobrush brush tip, it saves the predefined brush tip too, and if that cannot be found, the preset is marked as invalid.

We;re on the case, and I hope to have a fix for 2.7.
