Every time I switch from one KDE4 theme to another, it causes the icon positions in the folder view widget to move around. Locking the desktop or locking down the icons does not help. Very irritating and unprofessional. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set your icons to your favourite position 2. Select a different theme and view the new results 3. Actual Results: The icons have moved around to different positions. Expected Results: The icons should stay in the same position. The icons should stay in their grid regardless of the theme used. The .desktop icons are still the same size so the theme should NOT affect it's position.

It's also valid for 4.10.90
I can confirm that bug. openSUSE 12.3, KDE 4.10.X. Sometimes it happens almost randomly - after any change in Plasma (adding/removing/rearranging plasmoids, ...).
I am also running openSUSE 12.3. Apparently, this bug has been around in openSUSE 12.2. Further tested will be done.
Hello! This bug report was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this bug is already resolved in Plasma 5. Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this bug report. If the issue described here is still present in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging Thanks for your understanding!
