Description folk 2013-06-29 19:34:16 UTC
Application: kwin (4.10.1)
KDE Platform Version: 4.10.1
Qt Version: 4.8.4
Operating System: Linux 3.8.6-203.fc18.x86_64 x86_64
Distribution (Platform): Fedora RPMs

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I had about 130 downloads queued in gpodder. Selected about 128 of them, then clicked to pause the downloads. gpodder froze, then the whole screen went black for a minute. Then I was brought back to the KDE login screen. The crash had completely logged off the desktop session.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:

Gpodder froze.
Desktop session froze.
Screen went black.
Automatically logged out.
Brought back to login screen.

Let me know if you want me to try anything. Right now, I have to back up my data.

Bug between MESA update and KWin, leading to OOM (and slowness) through MSAA drawable invocation.
"Fixed" in KWin 4.10.3 (no MSAA drawable should be selected) and latter MESA 9.1 versions will prevent segfaulting on OOM.
