Description Sujith H 2013-06-27 12:01:21 UTC
When playlist icon is clicked the playlist is launched. With collection of 27-30 songs in my playlist it takes at least 2 seconds to get the details of the songs. Lest say if user has 1000's of songs then it would take more time. The details doesn't mean the song name, but the artist name and duration of song.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open PMC
2. Click the playlist
3. Check how much time does it take to update the details in the playlist
Actual Results:
It takes some time to load the details of songs

Expected Results:
It should happen quickly.

This is indeed problem. Reason is that is I think, when we add item in playlist. we just add url and not actual media item from the medialibrary. so we are asking for information about url at startup to medialibrary. but medialibrary will not have this information as baloosearch mediasource is still processing item, perhaps we should cache this information if item is in playlist?
