Description Dennis Morello 2013-06-25 16:15:45 UTC
when I start a presentation of a pdf file the screen freezes and it take a very long time to get things done

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a PDF file
2. Start a Presentation
3.

Expected Results:
I think waiting a minute before being able to watch a presentation is boring. maybe some optimizations are needed.

I have a late 2009 MacBook (MacBook 6,1) with 4 GB of RAM, an Intel Core2 Duo CPU, nVidia GeForce 9400m video card. I have set okular to be "aggressive" in using memory. No other setting has been changed.

Happens with all files or just some?
Comment 2 Dennis Morello 2013-06-25 16:37:31 UTC
I have tried with many PDF files and it always happens. I haven't tried with other document types. I'm using KDE SC 4.10.8

Works fine here, just i case can you attach one of the files you are having problems with? Does changing from aggressive to Normal make any difference?
Comment 4 Dennis Morello 2013-06-25 17:10:18 UTC
Now works fine here too. I simply changed from aggressive to normal and everything was ok, then I have turned to aggressive and the freezes no more happen.
