I've noticed one detail. On workspace must be at least 3 windows to reproduce this bug everytime in simple present window effect. In desktop grid one is enought. Of course must be active to have glow on.
(In reply to comment #3) > > colorCorrected: true > Tried disabling that? ("kcmshell4 kwincompositing", last tab) This solved the problem. Thanks. I had no idea this can make this kind of problem :) Maybe the topic should be changed to add this detail :)
In case you do not actually require shader driven color correction (wide gamut display) be aware that it also causes some overhead and if you have a WG display and actually require it, afaik activating color correction in kwin will break the color profile handling of eg. GIMP etc. (unless that meanwhile would support oyranos to exclude regions)
Well I am using a monitor icc profile in the kolor-manager, but I noticed this enhance colors a little bit more. However it doesn't work with vdpau when the compositing is disabled. If it's enabled, there is a tearing. I read that it's maybe fixed in 4.11 so I am waiting if so.
Color correction got dropped from KWin. Thus the bug cannot be fixed any more.
