Description Māris Nartišs 2013-06-10 07:51:24 UTC
Currently calendar widget allows to either display all PIM events or none and there is no way how to display only a part of events coming from a single source.

Example: I'm storing all my events in a Google calendar and at the same time I am subscribed to busy/available information (calendars) of my work colleges and friends. In KOrganizer I keep active only my calendar and inactive calendars of others to keep my events easy readable. I activate (show) other calendars only when it's necessary (i.e. when adding a new event where overlap is important).
Unfortunately current calendar widget has "all or nothing" approach - either I see mine events and all events of others (without any description as it's only availability information) or I can disable all events.
Only way how to disable displaying events of others in calendar widget is to disable calendar resource in Akonadi configuration but that also disables it for KOrganizer.

Proposal: add a configuration dialog like in KOrganizer to allow user to select event sources to display in calendar widget.

Reproducible: Always
