Description Gernot Wieprecht 2013-06-08 13:44:35 UTC
I hope I am correct in assuming this is a plasma related problem: Since my PC is updated to KDE SC 4.10.4 (from 4.9.5) there are some issues that seem to be caused by the desktop grab bing the foc us when it i s not expected to d o so.

E.g. I cann ot use the classic menu anymore. It opens on click but it always closes before I can choose a submen u. And I cannot watch flash videos in fullscreen mode anymore, the video always reverts to window mode. A nd when I'm writing something I have to reactivate the application I am using very often with an extr aclick to be able to go on writing. In all those cases it seems to me as if the object I'm using is losing the focus someho wbut there is no other application window so I assume it is the desktop that is calling for at tention.

I would be glad if you could help to makethe desktop unintrusi ve again.

Reproducible: Always

My problems seem to be related to Bug 318350, I excuse for having opened another report but the bug title is confusing so I have not taken it into consideration before. I've created a rule for the panel as described there and the problem seems to be solved.
