Description Dj YB 2013-06-04 16:15:59 UTC
in several mails now I see an attachment icon in the message list but there is no attachment.
there should be one, I know because I have asked the senders.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open mail
2.or save attachments
3.
Actual Results:
no attachment

Expected Results:
to get the attachments

might have to be connected with ClamAv or SpamBayes.
happened only after installing both in kmail.

Comment 2 Dj YB 2013-06-20 15:12:14 UTC
Hi,
eversince I have disabled ClamAV and SpamBayes the problem did not occur, but that is not a proof for their fault.
however the problem only appeared after they were enabled in the first place and therefore they were the immediate suspects.

Regards

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of kmail2 (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.12 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
