When i just close my laptop lid and reopen it, the screen becomes dark with only cursor appearing.

I guess it is when the password prompt screen that when launched causes this because for few seconds i can use the laptop before the password prompt comes in. 

I reproduced this on Kubuntu 13.04 compiled from source and openSUSE rpm. 

Choosing normal Oxygen before sleeping avoid this issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Close laptop lid to make sleep
2. Reopen
Actual Results:  
Dark screen with only cursor

Expected Results:  
Prompt for password

Kubuntu 13.04 and openSUSE. Require password to login : true
