When I want to do something in dolphin, for example create new file I use right mouse button for context menu and dolphin stops responding. I can't do anything except from terminating it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open dolphin 2. Click right mouse button 3. Actual Results: It stopped responding, crashed. Expected Results: Open a context menu. I use sabayon and dolphin is installed by Entropy, default package manager.
Thanks for the bug report! Most of the things that go wrong when trying to open the context menu are caused by one of the plugins which can be configured in the "Services" section of the settings dialog, and have nothing to do with Dolphin. Could you please try to: (a) Go to the "Services" section of the settings dialog, disable the "File to activity linking plugin", and check if that fixes the problem. (b) If that does not help, disable the other plugins one by one, check if the crash disappears when one of them is disabled, and tell us which one is the culprit. (c) If the crash persists when all "Services" are disabled, please try to provide a backtrace of the crash. You should get one in the dialog which appears right after the crash. Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll reassign to KActivities then.
Can you provide a backtrace for the crash?
Ivan, from reading the description, it simply hangs, but does not crash.
