shows date field

when using dialog to make transfer on money between accounts on my internet bank site, date as proposed in an editable field is never accepted even when using date of the day as prefilled by the site. A calendar feature can also be used but in makes no difference. This works fine with Rekonq. A picture showing the date filed is attached.

which browser engine ? Settings->Configure Konqueror->General->Default browser engine
Comment 2 Daniel Moyne 2013-05-31 08:36:12 UTC
The engine is KHTML and this is my only choice.

You can get the "WebKit" engine (same one used by reKonq), by installing the latest kpart-webkit package (http://packages.ubuntu.com/quantal/amd64/kpart-webkit).
Comment 4 Daniel Moyne 2013-06-03 18:55:26 UTC
Thanks I have installed the package and selected webkit as the engine in Konqueror. Is is from now on what you would recommend as engine or is this one having also some "weaknesses" for other features as I prefer to use Konqueror rather than reKonq.
