Description b1mo9c2d75d2 2013-05-28 08:46:13 UTC
Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. connect secondary display
2. "Display - KDE Control Module" should pop up to configure second screen
3. configure as second (do not unify outputs)
4. close configuration window with ok
5. disconnect second screen
6. "Display - KDE Control Module" pops up again but this time invisable on the already disconnect screen
7. sincethe display configuration can not be adjusted back to a single screen setup, windows opened thereon will also be displayed ("randomly") on the second screen which is actually not connected, leaving all these application unusable, making nearly all desktop work impossible
Actual Results:
display conf window displayed on disconnected screen

Expected Results:
1. display conf window displayed on remaining screen
or

2. automatic reconfiguration

Thanks for reporting your bug.

Since reporting Krandr has since been replaced by KScreen. It is available in the Plasma 4 series, and is default in Plasma 5 onwards.

I hope this solves your issue. If you still have a problem after upgrading please reopen a new bug under kscreen.

Thanks
