I'm a begginer of the KDE. Last week, I installed linux mint 14 32bit with KDE. And I love it. I changed my window decoration theme to the "Glowglass-Cuppertino" from installer, it worked very nice. But next day, I started my PC and find that I cannot open any windows and the desktop just freezed. Since the bug was happened and I don't know the way to save it. I got rid of linux mint and tried Kubuntu 13.04 32bit. But the same bug was happened. I haven't tried other themes. But it seems that there was another person had the same bug. http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-technical-help-here/applications/463680-kde-4-6-5-stopped-working.html Sorry for my poor English. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open "system setting" and go to go to "Workspace Appearance". 2.Go to "Window Decorations tab and "Click "Get New Decorations...". 3.Search for "Glowglass-Cuppertino" and install it. 4.Change the theme to "Glowglass-Cuppertino", and restart computer. 5.Log in to the KDE desktop and start any windows. Actual Results: The desktop freezes and only two things you can do are moveing your mouse cursor or pushing your PC's power off botton. Expected Results: Window should started normally with my favorite theme. My PC's brand is LaVie Light, a small note PC.
Installing different ubuntu variants won't do. Never. Don't try such again, you're wasting your time. -> Do not use the Aurorae engine AND xim - unless we can figure what causes this conflict. FYI: The city is called "cupertino" (one "p") *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 313830 ***
Oh I got it. Thanks a lot!
