On KDE-Brainstrom I have proposed an idea for a new mata-data optimized view for Dolphin[1]. Since up to now there was no negative response, I add an item to the wish list for cross-reference.

Thanks for the idea. Even if we agreed that this feature makes sense for a file manager, implementing it and making it work nicely with the rest of Dolphin would be a lot of work.

If anyone has a lot of free time and is interested in implementing this, writing this view and wrapping it in a KPart that can be shown in Konqueror is IMHO the way to go.
