Description davidblunkett 2013-05-16 09:08:41 UTC
Previously if I pressed prtscr I'd get ksnapshot and be able to snap a window and if I wanted to record another window I could presss prtscr to get another instance and snap another window (ie I'd have two instances with different snapshots). Following a recent upgrade (kubuntu 12.10 16/5/13) when I do this and take the second snapshot (in a new instance) the image in the first instance is updated to the latest snap (ie I get two instances both showing the same picture).

This is <really> irritating

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. invoke ksnapshot, take a snap of window 1, get an image of window 1 in instance 1
2. Invoke a new instance, take a snap of window 2, get an image of window 2
-- The image in instance 1 changes to window 2
Actual Results:
-- The image in instance 1 changes to window 2

Expected Results:
-- The image in instance 1 stays put (window 1)

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years and I will be closing this bug. Spectacle is the replacement for ksnapshot now. Please test again and file a new bug for Spectacle if you still have issues. Thank you!
