looks like a qtwebkit issue
Comment 2 Jim Van Horn 2013-05-09 02:22:46 UTC
Thank you, but ... uh ... what does that tell me? Do I need to take it
up with someone else?

package: libqtwebkit4
version: 2.3.0

Comment 3 Wolfgang Bauer 2013-05-10 10:42:18 UTC
Since you're running a 32bit system, the "Illegal instruction" could be caused by the flash plugin:
AFAIK the latest flashplayer 11.2 is compiled with SSE2, which older cpus don't support.

So please try to remove flashplayer from your system and see if Kontact/QtWebKit still crashes then.
Comment 4 Jim Van Horn 2013-05-10 15:10:37 UTC
Alas, my system is already Flash free: no Flash pkg and the Firefox
Flash plugin has been disabled.

I upgraded to qt-5.0.2 to see if the bug was still in webkit and it did not help. My webkit application was still crashing. Please update if you know anything about this bug.
