Description Gerald Cox 2013-05-05 23:24:25 UTC
Tiny Tiny RSS is an open source web-based news feed (RSS/Atom) reader and aggregator, designed to allow you to read news from any location...it is GPL/2, easy to install and configure and has been getting a great amount of attention since the announced termination of Google Reader. There is a thriving community on Google Plus in addition to Liferea has implemented this functionality and would be nice to be able to get it with akregator in the KDE environment.

+1 the only reason I can't use Akregator is because I need Tiny Tiny RSS support. TTRSS is by far the best Open Source server implementation for a feed reader. I don't like the default interface for TTRSS because it is heavy, cumbersome, and just ugly but overall it has the BEST backend structure I've ever used for feed readers. I've been using TTRSS ever since Google Reader was deprecated and honestly I am glad that they deprecated it because it forced me to try TTRSS and had I know how good it was I would have abandoned Google Reader years before.

Anyway, please get TTRSS support in Akregator.

This would be a nice feature for Akregator. I am not using it due to lacking Tiny Tiny RSS support.
